Always as a health issue, you know I always see myself beautiful and great, if it wasn't because of my health, I wouldn't even bother. I started my weight loss in a public Italian clinic, a hospital dedicated to slim down. The huge secret I discovered in this clinic was having a "healthy diet", yes! As simple as that. Learning how to eat everything but in its appropriate amounts, because the key is eating less than what your body burns. I want to clarify that I'm not a Doctor, I'm not a nutritionist, and what I'm telling you is my personal experience in this slimming clinic, what I was told and what worked for me.

I don't want to teach anybody or give tips that you may misread or can affect your health because each one of us is different, and what is best is visiting a doctor before starting a new diet, for real! I will never ever start again magazine diets, miracle diets, strange potions or shakes, replace meals. . . NO! In order to start an appropriate diet did a basal metabolic test that is to say "How many calories I burn in a resting state", and I believe I'm lucky because I burn around 1. 800, so after this test, my diet was of 1. 400 calorías. At lunchtime, I prefer to measure the quantity with the dish so I don't have to use a scale, I use a small bowl of rice or pasta with some light sauce or seasoning, for example, tomato sauce and as the second course I eat a half-dish of vegetables and the other half of protein. And fruit for dessert:2 mandarins, one apple, or a pear, and the exact thing for dinner but the bowl of pasta or receipt are not that abundant, let's say. . . two fingers less. When I started getting obsessed with the idea of working out, growing muscles, taking protein powder. . . she told me: "Diana, the muscle needs every kind of nutrient, not only protein, that's insane. You must eat everything, like pasta and rice". I was complaining about not having to do any kind of physical activity. I was a bit anxious because many people around me said to me: "Diana, you are going to look amazing once you exit the clinic!"But the truth is that this is not the point and the doctor was very clear to me: "Don't' get obsessed, probably you won't lose 20 kilos this month, this experience should last all your life,we will teach you how to eat, how to live, so you can continue losing weight at home with healthy habits, exercising usually not only to up your ass or have more biceps". It's better to have long term goals, and not trying to lose 20 kilos in a month, because it will not last long because most of the time obesity is related to psychological issues,It's not just that you are fat because you like eating,personally I had a love-hate connection with food I love to eat but I hate eating,so it's always best to be checked by our beloved psychologists,I send you a kiss, thanks for helping me. Being at the clinic was very helpful to order to break up with this hard connection with food not having any emotional ties. Having a food binge will not make you feel happy and will not solve your problems. It may sound crazy to someone that never had this issue she might think I'm addicted to food!like I need a donut through my veins!I spoke to my nutritionist because I was feeling very hungry, I was having a bad time at the clinic because, even if I wasn't allowed, I tried to work out hidden, There wasn't free access to the gym. The doctor decided your gym routine: one our of the bike, or whatever. . . and you couldn't do more. So I decided to go up and down the stairs, walk around the building courtyard trying to burn some calories. . . the nutritionist answered me: "You shouldn't feel hungry at all because you are eating enough calories for being in a resting state, you can't be hungry". So I had to confess: "Well, I do not rest all the time, I try to move, I'm tired of being calm so I do some workout. "She said: "If you exercise you need to ingest more calories". And this is something very important. The day I go to the gym I can eat a bit more and I still slim down. For example, for dinner, I should have 60 gr of pasta but I eat 80 gr because I know I will burn them at the gym because slimming down fast is not the key the real key is not having a bad time being hungry without having any lack. When I have a lack of carbs or sugar, I don't know in your case, but my bad temper comes out, you better not talk to me, that's why I want it to be a long-lasting lifestyle. In conclusion: have a healthy lifestyle, eat healthy food and the appropriate amount stay free form hunger and work out, don't stay sitting on your couch. This whole experience felt like a reality show, a mixture of Big Brother, "Orange is the new black", "the Biggest loser", and I found great friendsWell, have an amazing and healthy life!
